International Day of Charity; Confident Girls Round

Since it’s inception the Confident Girls Foundation has supported over 73,774 girls, granted $1,638,526 dollars and delivered programs in over 862 locations. The Foundation works with grassroots service providers to develop and implement programs aimed at creating more opportunities and increasing the self-esteem of girls experiencing adversity.

The Confident Girls Foundation has always held netball at the heart of the programs that they support, using it as a vehicle for change. In celebration of what they have achieved in the past four years, Round 10 of the Suncorp Super Netball League will celebrate the Confident Girls Foundation. The Round will run from Saturday 5th September – Sunday 6th September.

As a part of the Round and in support of International Day of Charity, on Saturday September 5th, each of the Confident Girls Foundation Ambassadors are advocating for a program delivered by the Foundation and competing against each other to raise awareness and funds in support of their cause.

The Marie Little Shield is Australia’s national competition for women living with disabilities. It’s an important part of the netball community and Courtney’s proud to see it continue as a pathway opportunity year after year, support her cause and go #TeamCourtney. By donating, you’ll go in the draw for a Woolworths voucher!

Team Caity

Macfarlane Primary School in the NT is full of excited girls keen to get to the Indigenous Netball Carnival. In 2020 due to COVID, the carnival won’t go ahead but Caitlin has been keeping the girls active with gear donated by Confident Girls Partner PTP Fitness and zooms about netball skills and mental health. Help her get these girls to their carnival in 2021 with #TeamCaity and go in the draw for your own PTP Confident Girls branded fitness pack!
