Types of gifts you can leave

Every gift, no matter the size, is a deeply meaningful contribution to the Confident Girls Foundation and a lasting testament to your kindness and vision. You may choose to include one of these thoughtful options in your Will:

Percentage Gift: 

You can leave a percentage of your entire estate, regardless of its overall amount at the time of your passing. This is the most impactful way to support our work.

Residuary Gift:

After providing for your family and loved ones, you can leave a percentage of the remaining estate.

Pecuniary Gift:

You can leave a specific sum of money, asset, property and shares.

Whole Estate Gift:

You can leave your entire estate.

 

Including the Confident Girls Foundation in your Will

If you’re uncertain about the best approach, consulting a legal professional familiar with Wills and estate planning can be very helpful to ensure your gift is prepared and documented in the way you envision.

If you already have a Will, you can consult your solicitor to make a simple update, known as a codicil.

When including a gift in your Will to the Confident Girls Foundation, it’s essential to use precise wording to ensure that your intentions are clearly understood.

Suggested wording to include in your Will:

I give to the Confident Girls Foundation (ABN 62 614 643 882), for its general purposes, free of all duties

[ _____________% of my residuary estate ]

OR

[ the sum of $____________ ]

OR

[ the whole of the residue of my estate ]

For which an authorised receipt from the Confident Girls Foundation will be a sufficient discharge for the executor(s) or trustee.”
