Confident Girls Foundation and Suncorp respond to communities in need

Netball and community organisations across Australia directly impacted by the natural disasters and pandemic events from 2019-2021 may be eligible to receive a Community Response Grant from the Confident Girls Foundation.

Supported by Suncorp, the objective of the Confident Girls Foundation Community Response Grant is to support netball and community organisations directly impacted by floods, fires, severe storms, cyclones, and health pandemics during 2019-2021.

Similar to the previous Bushfire Grants 1 process, there will be two tiers of grant sizes available – $1,500 and $10,000. If you, or a netball community you know has been impacted by such events and need help rebuilding your community, please complete a form to apply for support here.

Netball is a vital aspect of communities and brings together women and girls, giving them the opportunity to showcase their strength and teamwork. As communities rebuild, we want to ensure these cultural practices are maintained and girls have access to the services that support their growth into strong, confident women.

If you have questions about whether you or someone you know should apply, please read through our Grant Guidelines, Terms and Conditions and Frequently Asked Questions.

If you can’t find the answer to your question here, then please reach out via email at info@confidentgirls.com.au

Round 1 Community Response Grants will be open for application on Monday 25 October 2021 and will close 2:00pm AEDST Monday 15 November 2021.
